2017
Nirmala Sumtyal founded Jigyasa Travel with a vision to share the beauty and spirituality of her homeland.
2020
Expanded our team and launched our first international tours to Nepal and Bhutan.

Born and raised in the foothills of the Himalayas, Nirmala founded Jigyasa Travel with a deep passion for sharing the spiritual and cultural heritage of her homeland. With over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, she personally designs many of our signature journeys.
